General Preventative Medicine - Physician - (GPM - Physician) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 40 Hours/Week
Wound care physician needed with hyperbaric training to help new program get off the ground. Monday through Friday schedule, no call, weekends or holidays. Prefer 6 month commitment to start.
In general preventative medicine (GPM), (locum tenens) physicians are trained to evaluate and examine health care from a clinical and public health care perspective. General preventative medicine focuses on the health of communities, populations, and individuals. The focus is to educate and prevent disability, disease, and death while also promoting health. General preventative medicine has three main specialty areas, designed to educate populations on small and large scales. These areas are; occupational medicine, aerospace medicine, and public health and general preventative medicine. Physicians in general preventative medicine have specialized training in biostatistics, research, management of health care organizations, epidemiology, and research into cause of disease and injury in populations.
Required Qualifications
Board certified in the area of physician's primary training.
At least 40 hours of underseas and hyperbaric training.
Must have case logs.
