We are currently accepting CVs for a long term Hospitalist Locum Tenens assignment in ND. Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required with inpatient experience within the last two years. This position has 4-5 day shifts, night shifts, and weekend shifts each week. A typical workday involves 8-10 direct encounters daily, and another 4-6 encounters with supervision of mid-level practitioner. At night, the hospitalist is responsible for all admissions, and takes calls about all hospitalized patients. If rounding on weekend, all IM inpatients and IM consults will need to be covered, with coverage of 15-20 patients. Hospitalists also respond to code situations by rotation, and provide back up to ER. Both BLS and ACLS required.
