We are actively seeking 2 BC/BE Internists to join a large multi-specialty group in the Tallahassee, Florida area. You will be employed by the practice with an income guarantee provided by the hospital. This group is considered to be the "Premier Group" in town and most of the current physicians are no longer accepting new patients. Recruitment is the direct result of growth. This is an OP only position. This practice has been open since 1988 and they have 18 physicians total, 8 Internists and 10 Cardiologists. The practice call is 1:8 (no hospital call). This practice is supported by their lab, imaging, 64-slice CT, Coumadin clinic, nuclear medicine, echo, limited vascular studies, stress testing and more. There is a 1 year partnership track with this opportunity. Estimated salary is in the $185,000 range.
This opportunity is located 2.5 hours from Jacksonville, 3 hours from Pensacola, 2 hours 45 minutes to Destin, 6 hours to Ft. Myers, 4 hours to Orlando, 4 hours 45 minutes to Atlanta, GA, 4 hours to Tampa and 7.5 hours from Miami. It is located is close proximity to great getaways. Of course, Florida State University is located in Tallahassee, Florida A & M, the State’s Capital and so much more.
