306 bed community hospital & has served the County for over 50 years. Prominent features include the following:
• Level II Trauma Center with 60,000+ visits annually; 32 treatment bays
•14 bed ICU
•10 bed Surgical ICU
•Cardiac care center with diagnostic catherization lab and cardiac rehab center
•Full array of imaging services
•Very active (over 140,000 cases) outpatient programs
•Inpatient and Outpatient surgery
•Recently expanded neuroscience and neurosurgery service thru acquisition of next generation surgical technology
•EMR (Soarian, a Siemens product)
•14 full time physician program starting October, 2013
•5 physicians delivering care during the day; 1 physician delivering care overnight
•BLOCKED SCHEDULING; 12 hr shifts (7a-7p;7p-7a)
•Full time with Sound Physicians is 15 shifts/month (182/year)
•Open ICU- co-manage patients with intensivist support
•Average census of 12-15 at the outset of each day shift
•Excellent Compensation
