Feather River Hospital in Paradise, California is in need of primary care physicians at several of their locations in Paradise, Chico, and Corning, California.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
• Feather River Hospital (FRH) is a 100-bed acute-care hospital, serving a population of 45,000. We are dedicated to extraordinary patient care, as well as meeting the needs of our physicians in both their practice and lifestyle.
• FRH has a wide array of outpatient departments and services designed to meet the health care needs of Paradise and the neighboring communities.
• Services include cancer center, cardiology, critical care, diagnostic laboratory, emergency department, GI laboratory, home health, hospice (including a hospice house), hospital-based outpatient clinics, home oxygen, medical imaging, obstetrics, rural health center, same-day services, sleep medicine and surgery.
• A new 17,000 square foot Emergency Department was opened in 2012, which includes 18 private patient treatment rooms for rapid medical evaluation. In addition, the medical imaging department opened another radiology location to improve access and the Feather River Cancer Center was reaccredited by the American College of Surgeons and is the only accredited ACOS cancer program in Butte County.
• In 2013, a new 13,676 square-foot Outpatient Surgery Center, offering 18 patient prep rooms, was completed, and three hospital-based outpatient clinics were opened which included Feather River Total Women’s Health, Feather River Surgical Services and Feather River Primary Care. In addition, FRH purchased new cardiac ultrasound technology which resulted in becoming the first hospital in the area to offer 4-D cardiac imaging.
• In 2013, FRH had 5,167 admissions, 886 deliveries, 24,113 emergency visits, 255,205 outpatient visits and 15,374 home health visits. The hospital is staffed by 219 physicians, 1,234 employees and 449 volunteers.

ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
• Located in the Sierra Nevada foothills in Butte County, Paradise, California is a small rural community about 90 minutes north of Sacramento and 15 minutes northeast of Chico (a diverse university town with a population of 88,000).
• Paradise is positioned on a wide ridge with cavernous canyons on either side, with breathtaking views of the Feather River to the east, and Butte Creek to the west.

Chico is well-known for bicyclists, and countless bike paths can be found throughout the city.
