We are actively seeking two full-time Internal Medicine faculty members for our new Internal Medicine Residency program. As a new program, our IM Residency Program will build to a complement of 24 residents (8 residents in each year). It is a categorical three-year training program leading to certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine. The program is newly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), and is sponsored by the Florida State University (FSU) College of Medicine and operated in conjunction with our facility.
Position will offer the opportunity to teach mainly in an outpatient setting with a small inpatient component, while dividing the time approximately 50/50 between teaching and clinical responsibilities. The majority of your work will be in direct patient care and you will have many opportunities to teach residents while practicing in a collegial environment dedicated to providing quality patient care. The ideal candidate should have an aptitude for leadership and a passion for patient care. Candidates must be eligible for Florida licensure, completed residency and board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine. Candidates must be committed to primary care and teaching.
