Job Description:
Located 50 miles southeast of St Paul, Minnesota, along the Mississippi River is a picturesque city of approximately 18,000 people and is ranked one of The 100 Best Small Towns in America.
The Medical Center combines a clinic and hospital in one state-of -the-art facility.
Opened in 2001, the medical center has a 50-bed inpatient hospital care unit that includes intensive care and a birthing center. The latest diagnostic tools from CT scan to MRI and full lab services, makes this center a complete health care facility for patients it serves.
Onsite lab, x-ray and ancillary services serve both the clinic and hospital patients.
Electronic medical record, EPIC used in the clinic.
Rounding 1:7 weeks in the hospital as a "Hospitalist", focus practice most of the time in clinic setting.
Call: 1:7 weeks after 5pm provide secondary call during the week of rounding in the hospital.
