Terrific Partnership Opportunity for an Internal Medicine Physician in a Charming Suburb of Columbia!
Practice Details:
You’ll partner in a SSG and inherit the large patient-panel of a retiring physician with the support of a dedicated nurse and appropriate clerical staff. Currently, there are four physicians in the group and the founding partner is retiring creating this opportunity. There is also a tremendous need for internal medicine specialists in the community, as this is the only internal medicine group in town and assessments identify a need for three more internal medicine specialists for the community. There is currently a 2-3 week wait time for new patients. Rapid practice startup is anticipated and there is a tremendous potential for success!
You’ll provide inpatient and outpatient care as well as procedures such as colonoscopy, echocardiography interpretation and pulmonary test interpretation (procedures not required). As the incoming physician, you’ll work a 4.5 day work week treating 7 hours in the clinic and 1-2 hours in the hospital and share call with three other internists yielding a call rotation of 1:4.
Compensation:
Practice offers an Income Guarantee for first year, potentially two if needed, of around $165,000, incentives based on practice’s net income, a 1 year partnership track, and full benefits. After partnership, ½ your income will come from the group, split equally for partners, and ½ from your individual productivity. Benefits include: Signing bonus, Full health insurance, Group pays part of premium, Life Insurance, Professional malpractice insurance, 26 days paid vacation, holidays, CME, Retirement plan with match, Paid relocation allowance and Student loan repayment.
