Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible working toward Board Certification
• MD or DO candidates considered
• International Medical Graduates will be considered
• We sponsor J-1 Waiver candidates
• Traditional inpatient/outpatient practice. No hospitalist program
•
Practice Structure:
• Income guarantee or employment contract
• Solo opportunity for either contract
• Call is every 10th night in rotation with other FP/IM for unassigned ER Call. Follow own patients throughout week. Weekend coverage varies dependent upon call group.
• Physician would be replacing a successful established practice.
• Verification of need- practice: Practice already established in area. There are currently 8 IM in the area.
Financial Package:
• Salary 180-200K
• Sign on bonus- 25K; Relocation 12K; Marketing 7K; CME 3,500K; Student Loans available and stipends; immigration assistance Practice Management 15K if on income guarantee.
• If Employed- Occurrence based malpractice; Vacation 25 days; 5 CME days; Health insurance; 401K; disability, etc…
• Opportunity to bonus with both employment and Income Guarantee
Additional Information:
• The physicians in the community will welcome an incoming IM physician.
• Hospital payer mix- Medicare 42%; Other/Commercial 20%; Medicaid 17%; Managed Medicaid 7%; Managed Medicare 7%; 5% Self Pay
• Office space to be determined
• 20 Primary care physicians in primary service area including FP’s
• Primary Service Area 39, 526; Secondary Service area 58, 661 Tertiary Service area 60000+
