Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens
Family Practice or Internal Medicine doctor needed for small rural town in Washington clinic. This is an ongoing need for eight hours a day. Clinic will consider long term locums & locums to perm. EMR is Epic.
Internal medicine (locum tenens) is a branch of medicine characterized by an emphasis on treating the whole body, rather than specialized focus on one body part of system. Many people use internists as their first point of medical contact, and in this way these physicians function similarly to primary care doctors. Internists are trained to treat and diagnose a wide range of illnesses that affect the entirety of the biological system. When an illness proves to be advancing, exotic or complex, internists will usually refer their patients to specialists.
Required Qualifications
Will need BLS, ACLS, & DEA. Must be BC.
Preferred Qualifications
Washington License Preferred but will license
