Sweetwater, TX, county seat of Nolan County has a population of just of 10,000 and a 19,000 draw. The people are warm, friendly and open to new people and new doctors. It is a safe, rural community with the benefit of having the city of Abilene 30 minutes away and the metroplex just 4 hours away. Sweetwater and other Nolan County communities provide great schools and a great place to raise a family. The economy is very diverse, with oil and gas, agriculture, gypsum and other manufacturing and the largest wind power concentration in the United States.
Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital is a tax district hospital and provides a wide range of services for the surrounding area. The hospital was built in 1976 and has maintained an excellent facility and seen consistent growth. Licensed for 85 beds, the hospital offers a great range of services from perinatal to home health. Several specialists are on staff and many additional specialists are available to assist in the care of your patients
1 BC/BE Internal Medicine physician needed to practice. Practicing and experienced physicians as well as residents will be considered. Must be licensed in Texas or eligible. Relocation, marketing, sign-on bonus and stipend can be offered.
• Employed physician model
• Initial eighteen months full-time annual salary guaranteed at $240,000 (production Bonus Available during this period)
• Call coverage commitment: 1 in 4
• Up to $25,000 contract execution payment
• Up to $2,000 per month for 12 months max Residency Stipend
• Up to $15,000 relocation allowance
• Continuing Medical Education - $5,000 per year and five paid days per year.
• Malpractice coverage would begin the first day ($1,000,000 & $3,000,000 policy limits)
• Up to $2,000 Texas License Fees reimbursement
• Full Physician benefit package
