INTERNAL MEDICINE OR FAMILY PRACTICE PHYSICIAN
Opportunity for a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to practice in a highly desirable community in Northern California located midway between San Francisco and Sacramento and 30 minutes from the Napa wine country.
This physician will provide outpatient care and limited call coverage.

Facility is an integrated system with 2 hospitals, affiliated surgery center, Medical Group and Insurance Plan. The two hospitals include 132 bed Facility in Fairfield and 50 bed Facility in Vacaville. Over 90 physicians and AHP’s make up the multi-specialty Medical Group.
Keynote services include a busy Women’s and Children’s Services, featuring a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Comprehensive Cancer Center, Heart and Vascular Center (which features cardiac surgery and interventional surgery), Center for Orthopedics and Joint Replacement and our center for Neuroscience, which was established in 2013.
Our Center for Neuroscience has been designed to provide the most comprehensive care including Primary Stroke Center, neuro-oncology, neurovascular, degenerative spine injuries, and trauma.
Facility staff dubbed 2014 the “Year of Celebrations,” and for good reason:
• In July 2014, Facility earned verification as a Level II Trauma Center from the American College of Surgeons, the first hospital in Solano County to earn that distinction.
• At the same time, our heralded Joint Replacement Program earned certifications for hip and knee replacement from the Joint Commission.
• Also in July, our Center for Primary Care and Specialty Care physicians ranked in the Top 10 in California in the Patient Satisfaction Assessment Survey (PSAS). Months later, Consumer Reports also ranked them in the TOP 10 in California, in a January 2015 issue. Facility currently operates three Centers for Primary Care, staffed by Internal Medicine, Family Practice and Pediatric physicians with plans for the addition of several new centers during the next five years.
Facility draws patients from the Northern Solano County communities of Vacaville and Fairfield, a non-Kaiser base of approximately 135,000 people. The population is somewhat younger than surrounding areas, though in recent years there has been marked growth in middle age and older groups. A solid middle class community; Solano County ranks 9th in the state in median income. An excellent location, affordable housing and an expanding job base fuel the growth of this desirable community.
