This private practice of two physicians and several LPNs and a PA that is starting in June is in need of a few additional physicians! They are losing an Family Physician due to family relocation and they are growing so you can expect to be busy from day one. The office is located in the High Ridge section of Stamford. You can live in several beautiful communities! The group was established 27 years ago. They have a fantastic reputation and are known for their quality care of their patients. They see approximately 14 to 18 patients per physician a day they follow their patients in the hospital and the community nursing homes as needed. Today they only have one patient in the hospital; their philosophy is all about Wellness Care and Preventive Medicine! They work Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 and one Saturday a month from 9 to 2pm. They are in the midst of working with other groups in town to cover call for each other, if that takes place call will be 1:9, if for some reason it doesn’t go through, the call will be 1:3 until additional docs are hired. The call is very light. The have EMR – they use McKesson. Must be able to use EMR…this is mandatory. They also have an Open Access on premise, the hours are Monday thru Saturday 8 am to 9 am, 5pm to 8 pm Monday thru Friday, Saturday they reopen 2 to 8 and Sunday 8 to 4. New docs can work in the Open Access to obtain additional hours/income – but this is not mandatory. The office is quite nice, great location and great support staff! This is a great position for someone that wants to put down roots and become a partner of a practice that puts their patients first! Salary first year is a base of 130k plus bonus which equate to approximately 140k first year income. Full benefits including two weeks’ vacation, 1 week CME and 1K CME stipend, health insurance for physician and family, Malpractice insurance- Claims Made.
