Seeking to add 2 more hospitalists to the existing four. They are moving to a block schedule of 7on/7off with 12 hour shifts once they have 6 hospitalists. They cover 2 facilities. They are ideally seeking physicians with 2-6 yrs experience. One physician covers both hospitals at night. About 20 inpatients/day and the other has about 10 inpatients/day. The physician must be comfortable with managing critical patients, central line placements, intubations, etc. Salary is about $150k depending on experience. They pay standard full range of benefits. They are looking for someone who is committed to moving and living in the area. They are not interested in people living further away and commuting for the week they are on. They would consider residents if they are committed to staying and working as a hospitalist for a career and not a temporary place until they start a fellowship.
