One of Atlanta’s premier hospital systems is recruiting an Internal Medicine physician for a HOSPITALIST position. This position is located in one of Atlanta’s fastest growing suburban areas.
The hospital is an 84-bed not-for-profit, full-service community hospital that served over 76,000 patients last year.
The excellent salary plus annual bonus is very competitive.
The hospitalist program operates with a team of five physicians (4 team members plus the Medical Director) and 2 PAs.
In addition to admitting patients from the Emergency Department and rounding on unassigned patients, the team also provides inpatient management services for a number of community primary care physicians who wish to concentrate on their office-based practice.
The hospital has a diagnostic cath lab, and the support of all needed specialties.
