Atlanta Medical Center is looking for an Internal Medicine Physician with an entrepreneurial spirit. The Medical Center has an opportunity to serve as a leader in establishing a Community Based Senior Program. Starting with a fellowship trained Geriatrician, we are looking to foster relationships with senior care facilities in our service area.
Atlanta Medical Center has been meeting healthcare needs in the Atlanta community and delivering exceptional patient care since 1901. The Medical Center is a 760-bed tertiary care hospital comprised of two hospital locations, five (5) primary care outpatient clinics, four (4) urgent care centers and an outpatient imaging center.
Services include
1. Center of Excellence in Cardio Vascular Disease
2. Center of Excellence in Bariatric Surgery
3. Level 1 Trauma Services
4. Joint Commission Certified-Comprehensive Stroke Program
5. Inpatient Rehabilitation Program
6. Transfusion Alternative Medicine and Surgery
7. Adult and Geriatric Behavioral Health Services
We host a Graduate Medical Education Program with 80 medical residents in the specialties of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics and General Surgery.
