Intensivist - Physician - (Critical Care Physician) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 04/06/2015Available Shifts: Varied Shift

A Georgia-based medical facility in a metro area is currently seeking a Critical Care physician to assist with locum tenens coverage this Spring/Summer. Locums physician will be responsible for all Med/Surg patients along with call coverage at night. Candidates should be experienced with Vent Management, Intubations, Arterial & Central Lines. Critical care physicians (locum tenens) perform surgical and non-surgical procedures in life management scenarios that frequently involve sophisticated organ support and invasive monitoring. Critical care intensivists work with CC units to save lives, treating patients suffering from conditions such as surgical shock, respiratory failure, and postoperative hemorrhaging. These physicians are trained to work in high stress, critical environments and to treat complex traumas and uncommon medical conditions.
