Intensivist - Physician - (Critical Care Physician) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day
State-of-the-art facility located in Houston area seeks Intensivists for immediate and ongoing coverage. These are 12-hour shifts (7a-7p. 7p-7a). Physician must be board-certified in Critical Care with a current Texas license, ACLS and BLS and comfortable working in a large ICU. Call Staff Care for more details.
Critical care physicians (locum tenens) perform surgical and non-surgical procedures in life management scenarios that frequently involve sophisticated organ support and invasive monitoring. Critical care intensivists work with CC units to save lives, treating patients suffering from conditions such as surgical shock, respiratory failure, and postoperative hemorrhaging. These physicians are trained to work in high stress, critical environments and to treat complex traumas and uncommon medical conditions.
