Infectious Disease - Physician - (Infectious Disease) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day Shift

Southern Wisconsin facility seeks a board-certified Infectious Disease Physician for outpatient coverage through the summer of 2013. This is a clinic only opportunity dealing mostly with shock, bacterial, fungal, parasitic and viral diseases, HIV, STDs, etc. The physician will see 18-22 adult patients per day and have access to a full support staff. Infectious disease physicians (locum tenens) specialize in the diagnosis of a wide range of diseases through the use of medical technology such as blood and tissue sampling and diagnostic imaging tests. Infectious disease physicians treat conditions ranging from pediatric illnesses to working with patients suffering from HIV/AIDS. These physicians generally complete residencies in internal medicine before specializing in infectious disease care.
