Infectious Disease Opportunity
Located in the suburbs of Lexington, Ky., this Hospital offers some of the most advanced medical facilities, technologies and capabilities available in the region.
Position:
•Infectious Disease / Internal Medicine
•Board Certified or Board Eligible
•MD and DO considered
•Visa: NO
Compensation:
•Hospital employed
•Base salary: 190K
•Quality bonus: 10K per year
•Sign-on bonus: 15K
•wRVU bonus structure – 4,250 RVU’s at base
compensation
•wRVU paid at $40.00 per RVU after 4,250 RVU’s
•Contract length: 2 years with 1 year auto renewal
•Health insurance, life, disability, retirement
•Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
•$2,500.00 towards CME
•Paid professional society dues, paid Board Certification, re-certification
•Paid time off per year: 36 days ATO (includes vacation, CME, sick days, personal days, Holidays)
•Relocation: up to $10,000.00
•Student loan reimbursement: negotiable
Practice:
•Currently have an Infectious Disease Physician 3 days per week
•Will be replacing current Infectious Disease Physician
•Will need to have a combination of Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine Practice
•Call: 1/3
•Office located on Hospital Campus
•Already an established patient base
•Physician will be busy from day one with a combination of ID and IM
Hospital:
•105 licensed bed facility
•Largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Kentucky
•Service Area: 180,000
•Hospitalist program in place
•All specialties available
•20 million dollar renovation planned
Community:
•Metropolitan Statistical Area Population: 700K+
•College Town
•Climate: Moderate: little snowfall in the winter with four seasons
•Airport in Lexington – direct flights to many major cities
•Large entertainment options and fine dining
•Great Public School System as well as Private School Options
