Average Census- 15.5 but can be 17
Average Number of New Patients- .8/day
Shift Times- 12 hours
Rotation- 9 day teams in a geographic rounding model
EMR- Centricity
Practice Information:
Hospitalist respond to Rapid Response
No CPOE - there is a concurrent paper chart for orders and progress notes. H&P's, Consults and Discharge summaries are dictated

-What are the hours for the day & swing shift? Day shift- 0700-1900 (Pager is off at 1700) Swing shift- 1300 - 0100
-How many providers are on swing? 3 swing teams
-How many providers are on nights? 2 night teams
-Although they do not admit to the ICU, are Hospitalist rounding in the ICU? No but they do admit to the intermediate Care "step down" unit
-Do you have Intensivists on staff? No
-Will they take FP? No
