Hospitalist - Pediatrics - Physician - (Hospitalist - Peds) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 04/01/2015Available Shifts: 24 Hour On-Call
Pediatric Hospitalist needed in OH. Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice. 24 hour call with 7 on/off. Must have PALS and NRP. Level 2 Nursery. Night call is very low. Attend risk deliveries. Intubations, vent, and stabilize babies. Specialty backup is available
A pediatric hospitalist(locum tenens) is a physician who works with children in inpatient or hospital settings. They offer care to children in multiple departments, including: labor and delivery, intensive care, the pediatric ward, and newborn nursery. A pediatric hospitalist work with regular pediatricians and other physicians involved in a child's care, to ensure the most efficient and effective treatment plan available. A pediatric hospitalist provides treatment in the areas of illness, injury, surgery, and newborn care.
