Intercede Health was founded in 1995, by four internal medicine physicians, all boarded in critical care medicine. This core group recognized a real opportunity to create a company focused on grappling with the challenges of treating patients more effectively in a inpatient environment. The company was successful in creating custom solutions for different organizations and health plans.
Hospitalist medicine is one of the fastest-growing specialties in health care. But translating a hospitalist program into improved efficacy and quality of care remains a challenge for many hospitals. Intercede Health works with you to understand your clinical needs based on projected admissions volume, and then staffs and manages your hospitalist program with physicians trained to help you deliver quality care and move patients quickly through the admitting process.
All of our physicians are thoroughly trained through Intercede Health Hospitalist University, which arms them with the knowledge, tools, and best practices they need to serve your hospitalized patients. We set performance standards, and reward accordingly. Our physicians are trained on optimum treatment protocols to speed decision-making while keeping the needs of the patient in the forefront.
Qualified candidates will have the following background:
Board Certified Internal Medicine
Previous experience as a director of hospitalist services.
The position will be based in Houston, TX and and provide leadership for our existing hospitalist programs in Texas.
The Regional director will also serve as our clinical lead for a program based in Houston, TX.
The Regional Director will report directly the Intercede Health's Chief Medical Officer
The Regional Director will also assist in marketing and growth initiatives to expand our services
