A well established, Hospitalist group is anticipating an expansion based on increasing demand for services as well as a move early next year into a new, larger Regional Medical Center. Currently the group is comprised of eleven. Daily patient encounters per Hospitalist are roughly eighteen per shift. Physicians work fifteen shifts per month with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts. No procedures or vent management is required; a full Intensivist staff handles that. First year base salary is $230,000 with a full benefits package that includes a $50,000 sign on bonus as well as a relocation allowance. Second year income is derived from a per shift amount based on an RVU formula, supplemented by production incentives. The position is located in a community of 50,000 which will soon be home to a new 300 plus bed Medical Center. The community boasts top-notch schools and wide range of shopping, dining and entertainment venues and is consistently rated as one of the lowest cost communities in the U.S. Access to four metros in an hour or hour and a half.
