Hospitalist - Nocturnist - Physician - (Internal Medicine - Hosp Nocturnist) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Night Shift

Summary: Provider will be expected to see 12-15 admissions per night (1 per hour approximately) on average and will partner with a staff doc to manage their work. General Medicine experience required as the physician will see a wide variety of patients. Critical Care admissions could be possible - maybe 1 every other shift. This Nocturnist will work along side of one other Nocturnist to equal two Nocturnists covering per shift. This position is stationary in the ED. No procedures. Admissions in emergency dept.; respond to some room calls; no rounding on inpatient.

A hospitalist nocturnist(locum tenens) is a physician who works predominantly overnight, versus practicing during the day. This physician is hired to specifically work at night and provides care to patients during this time. A hospitalist nocturnist is in the field of internal medicine and works overnight in hospital settings only. They are available to provide critical care to patients in settings where physicians are not readily available onsite.


Required Qualifications
Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice with Hospitalist experience will be accepted with valid OH license and DEA.
