Neuro Hospitalist - Physician - (Neurology - Neuro) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 11/25/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Our client in Baltimore is looking for Neuro-hospitalist coverage starting November 25th full time, with a minimum 3 month committment. Board Certification in Neurology is required with experience in stroke and epilepsy. Please inquire for more information.

A neuro hospitalist (locum tenens) is a hospital based neurologist, who is specially trained in vascular neurology and/or neuro critical care. A neuro hospitalist will see inpatient neurology consults and manage neurology inpatient services, specifically within the care of patients admitted to the hospital with a wide array of nervous system disorders. Neuro hospitalists evaluate and treat a multitude of conditions including: acute stroke, nervous system cancer, seizure disorders, altered mental status, headaches and neuromuscular respiratory failure.
