- Start Date: October 3rd, 2014 - FIRM START
- End Date: ongoing
- How many openings: Need up to 10 Locums providers
- Minimum Length of Coverage: 4-6 months
- Type of Clinic (MSG, SSG, Solo, CH): Hospital
- Hospital/Facility Size (# beds/exam rooms): 60+ beds - 24 med surg/ 6 ICU
- Schedule: 10 hr day shift at hospital - 2 hrs paid on call and on call nights.
- Patient Volume: Average 16 encounters/hospitalist per day
- Patient Ages: 16+
- IP/OP: IP Only
- Call: Will have call - only need to come in to admit to the ICU
- Support Staff: Subspecialty backup is limited.
- Responsibilities (ICU, Vents, OB, etc): Administration would like procedures to be required since the subspecialties are limited. Current docs don't perform many procedures, but able to if needed. ED runs codes at night
- Charting/Dictation: EMR McKesson
- BC/BE Requirement: IM preferred - will move through process quicker. FP must have strong HOS experience (more than 5 years and must have proof) . Board Certified and Board Eligible within 3 years.
- Privileges Required? (turnaround): Will be able to credential by October 3rd.
- DEA / CSR Requirements: Yes
- Medicare / Medicaid Requirements: Yes
- Certification Requirements (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, etc.) ACLS and BLS are required
- Additional Information: Must have active TX license, active CSR/DPS certificate, and TX DEA (must be registered in TX).
