-Hospital/Facility Size (# beds/exam rooms): Under 100 beds
-Schedule: 7 on/ 7 off: 6am-6pm for HOS day shift, or 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off, 6pm-6am for nocturnist only position, please see additional notes
-Patient Volume: 15-18 encounters per shift
-Patient Ages: 18+
-IP/OP: Inpatient
-Support Staff: Full hospital nursing staff and specialty backup
-Responsibilities (ICU, Vents, OB, etc): Rounding and admissions. Nocturnist position would have ICU involvement and need to do vent management. No procedures.
-Charting/Dictation: EMR
-BC/BE Requirement: BC or BE within 3 years
-Certification Requirements (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, etc.) ACLS
-Additional Info: Losing a physician October 1. Client's best case scenario is to bring in a nocturnist 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, but is willing to consider a HOS that is willing to work a rotating schedule with 70% days and rotating nights about every 8 weeks. Temporary-to-permanent is an option.
