We are in need of a Hospitalist in North Carolina. We are currently looking for both daytime as well as nocturnist shifts. Each are 7days on/7 days off, if possible. Day shift runs from 7a-7p, night shift from 7p-7a. Both would be expected to be in-house throughout the shift.
Day shift providers would be expected to see up to 15 - 20 patients, including rounding, ICU and admissions throughout their shift. Night shift would be expected to cross-cover for all Hospitalist patients as well as see admissions, consults or codes that come up throughout the shift. The noctunist is also responsible for the patient assignments for the upcoming day shift. Both providers will be provided with a cell phone to carry while on shift. This phone will need to be left at the hospital between shifts, as it is a shared phone line.
