Hospitalist -Obstetrics/Gynecology - (Hospitalist -OB/GYN) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Varied Shift

Acute care hospital is searching for obstetricians to serve as an in-house laborist while they recruit for permanent physicians. Shifts are varied and emergency privileges are available.

An ob-hospitalist (locum tenens) is a board-certified obstetrician who provides care to patients in obstetrics, while in a hospital setting. An ob-hospitalist is available to provide immediate care, works closely with the patient's OB/GYN to ensure complete and comprehensive care. In addition, an ob-hospitalist may be the first responder in the case of obstetrical emergencies and in cases where the patient's OB/GYN is not readily available. Care provided by an ob-hospitalist may include; the management of labor, preparation of an emergency c-section, and other symptoms related to pregnancy.
