*Hospitalists Opportunity Available for Tucson, Arizona *Growing group is expanding and adding more Hospitalists *Day Hospitalist position will average 16 shifts per month. A flexible model where you can work out schedule with the other hospitalists. Can be 7/7 or 16/14 or 10/10. As long as you get the 16 shifts in per month and meet required goals. *Hours from 7am - 7pm. Hospitalists don't have to stay for the full 12 hours. You can leave when finished rounding on the patients and be on pager for the rest of the shift if needed. *Average patient census is 16-17. It might spike to 19-20 but not very often. The group manages the patient census to hire more hospitalists when needed. *Open ICU for rounding with great subspecialty backup. *Procedures are an option. Some of the Hospitalists have never done procedures. *Large Hospitalist team of 22+ physicians. They usually average 8 hospitalists on during the day shift.
