Located 90 minutes from Boston, Massachusetts, there is a great quality of life and an area with community pride in this outstanding city. •44 FTE Program
•650+ Bed academic, Research & Teaching Hospital.
•Level 1 Trauma and the 2nd busiest Emergency Department in Massachusetts.
•Nationally recognized for outstanding work in nursing critical care & innovation process.
•Baystate is heavily involved in post graduate medical education with 10 residency and 20 fellowship programs.
•Newly remodeled 96 bay emergency department and 600,000 sq ft state-of-the-art Heart/Vascular Center.
•Shifts can vary from 8am-6pm, 2pm-12am and 8pm-8am.
•Schedule is flexible.
•Board Certified Internal Medicine preferred will consider Board Eligible candidates.
•No Procedures required
•For night shifts the primary responsibilities will be admissions and cross covering
•Average number of admission for nights depends on the length of shift and how busy the ED is (avg is 6)
•Resident are the code responders
