Hospitalist – Northern New York State.
Great Opportunity for a b/e b/c Hospitalist. This inpatient/hospital employed position has become open due to an increase need for services in the local area. Hospitalists handle admissions from 7pm until 7am. This position is offered by a 287 bed not for profit hospital in northern New York state. Schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off. You will be joining a staff of 180 physicians with many sub-specialty areas being supported. The hospitalist team currently has 8 physicians and 1 physician assistant.But they are moving to a team of 10 physicians
Generous compensation package includes base salary in the range of $222K to $243K based on experience and certification, with bonuses paid based on RVU.There is also the opportunity to earn extra compensation for teaching. Sign on bonus, relocation allowance, malpractice insurance are all included. 7 days paid time off, CME stipend, professional dues and publications and a generous 401(k) package round out the list of benefits.
Labeled the “Fastest Growing County in New York State”, this area is experiencing an unparalleled economic boom as a result of the expansion at a local military base. The area is a great place to live and to work. Located in northern New York State, they are proud of their lush farmlands, miles of waterfront and acres of forests, quaint villages, a booming commercial center, and of course, the area is the commercial hub of the area, and is home to nationally recognized manufacturing facilities like the “Little Trees” Car Fresheners.
