OPEN NEED:
•Locum Tenens Nocturnist
•July, ongoing need
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
•Board Certified or Board Eligible
•Internal Medicine with Hospitalist Experience
JOB DETAILS:
•Join a team of 4 hospitalists and one other nocturnist
•14 – 17 patient encounters plus admissions per shift
•Open ICU with an average of 8 patients
•Two midlevel’s provide coverage from 11a – 11p, also act as first responders when the floor gets busy
HOSPITAL DETAILS:
•116 bed, not for profit hospital
•First “green” hospital in Southwest Virginia that offers a fully array of medical services
•Member of the Mountain States Health Alliance, which is 9,000 member strong and the largest health care system in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia
COMMUNITY DETAILS:
•Population of over 10,000
•Town is designated as a Virginia Historic Landmark
