  • 173 bed Acute Care Hospital
  • Level IV Trauma Center ER
  • 10 beds are for patients pending admission
  • Monday-Sunday: 7on and 7off
  • Rounding Shift: Day- 7am 7pm
  • On Call Night: 7pm 7am
  • BC/BE in IM or FP with Hospitalist experience.
  • ACLS is Required

A strong and stable relationship is the foundation for this opportunity. Hospital Physician Partners (HPP) opened the Hospitalist program in partnership with Beckley ARH Hospital and has been a contracted partner with them since 2007 in the management of their emergency department which has an annual ED volume of over 24,000 patients. As a practicing Hospitalist at Beckley ARH Hospital with HPP, you will enjoy a cohesive team atmosphere built on communication and cooperation.

Beckley ARH Hospital is part of the Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH), a not-for-profit health system serving 350,000 residents across Eastern Kentucky and Southern West Virginia. Operating ten hospitals, multi-specialty physician practices, home health agencies, HomeCare Stores and retail pharmacies, ARH is the largest provider of care and single largest employer in southeastern Kentucky and the third largest private employer in southern West Virginia.

Additionally, tourism, technology, and transportation all thrive and the area maintains a very strong school system.

Beckley is the largest city in southern West Virginia and is located just 60 miles southeast of Charleston in Raleigh County at the intersection of I-77 and I-64. The Beckley area market services more than 200,000 people, and has an average annual temperature in the low to mid 50’s and maintains relatively moderate humidity.
