No Procedure Hospitalist in Northern California
Advantage Locums is seeking a talented Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained physician to assist an established hospitalist group in Stockton, CA to offer Locums Hospitalist coverage over the next 4-6 months. Stockton is just 1.5 hours outside of San Francisco .
• Must have CA license
• ACLS required
• Board Certification required or Exam date schedules.
• 200 bed facility with 24 ICU & CCU beds in the Open ICU Dept.
• The daily census is 12-15 patients with 6-8 patients per night
• 12 hour shifts, 7a-7p; 7p-7a
• NO Procedures required: however must be able to be prepared to intubate and place central lines, these procedures are not required but a bonus if requested.
• Codes are not required: Rapid Response Team or Code Team will respond as needed (however physicians try to respond if is their patient)
• Specialty backup includes: Cardiology, Pulmonology, GI, ID, Surgery, Ortho, Intensivists/Pulmonary, Neurology
• Temp Privileges: 3 months (with complete file)
• Full Privileges: 3-6 months
Compensation is $125-$140 per hour based on experience and certifications. Along with the hourly compensation we will provide travel, lodging and mal practice while on assignment.
