Locums Hospitalist Opportunity in Pensacola, FL
Advantage Locums is seeking a locums hospitalist for our client in Pensacola, Florida.
• Board Certified FP/IM or Board Eligible FP/IM (within 5 years of completing residency) with active ACLS certification
• Facility has 339 beds
• locums hospitalist will respond to codes and will be expected to do procedures if intensivists is not available. Intensivists only work during day shifts. Hospital willing to retain on procedures.
• Specialty Backup is provided at facility
• No Codes
• EMR Charting System
• Locums contractors will be involved in the ICU: rounding only
• Approx. 18-22 encounters per doc per shift, but must be able to handle up to 27-30 a day
• Prefer blocks of shifts
• Provider must provide at least 7-10 shifts per month for at least 6 months
• Providers must be willing to rotate through nights
• No Call required, In house nights
• Emergency temporary priviledges are available for candidates that do not have background issues
• Must have active FL license and DEA
Along with a competitive hourly rate, Advantage Locums will provide travel, lodging and mal practice while on assignment.
