Opportunity for Physicians to join our Hospital Medicine team full-time at Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. These are immediate hire positions. This established hospital medicine program at 260-bed Chilton Hospital sees an average of 18 to 20 patients per physician per day. Hospitalists round on Med-Surg floors and ICU, including ventilator patients; manage codes and Rapid Response; emergent intubations; and central access. Physician coverage is provided in 4 day shifts from 7 am to 7pm and 1 night shift from 7pm to 7am. Requirements include: board certified or eligible in internal medicine and an active New Jersey medical license. Pompton Plains is in Morris County, in the New York metro area. The township is primarily a residential area that encompasses two communities, Pequannock and Pompton Plains. Recorded history of the township dates to 1695 when the area was originally settled. Pequannock was incorporated in 1740, making it older than our nation itself. Community growth was greatest in the 1950s during which time the population more than doubled. During the early 1990s, a planned residential development known as The Glens was constructed, adding 583 homes.
