275+ physician and 92 mid level provider Multi-specialty clinic seeks another IM or FP for their hospitalist program.
Work 7 on/7 (7a-7p) off with 2 physicians on the day shift and 1 on nights. 12-15 patients/day, 3-4 admits on average. One week every 16 you must work nights (7p-7a) – 1-2 admits on average. Currently there are 6 full time Hospitalists and 1 nurse practitioner. Seasoned ER physicians assist with complicated cases. Must be ok doing some ICU work and procedures are required (intubations, thoras, paras, central lines, lumbar punctures, and very rarely, arterial lines – with assistance from either ER doc or Anesthesiologist). Ideal candidate has critical care experience and is comfortable with vent management and invasive procedures. 209k salary with 10% bonus potential, 10k sign on, $3,400 CME, malpractice, life, long/short term disability, 5% monthly gross pay contributions into 401k.
