Immediate openings for full-time Hospitalists in Cape Code. This is an employed position. Candidate must be Internal Medicine trained and board certified/eligible required. Join a dynamic team of 20 Hospitalists and 4 mid-level providers who provide around the clock care for the vast majority of all medical admissions to this 250 bed hospital. Hospitalists work a block scheduled 5 on 5 off and rotate between teams covering medical units and ED admissions. Up to 24 night shifts/year. Typical census 15-18 patients/Hospitalist. 27-40 admissions/day, average 10 per shift. ICU coverage is required with Intensivist backup (round twice/day) 12 bed unit with 10-12 CVICU overflow. Hospitalists respond to codes on all inpatient adult units. ACLS required. Procedures may be performed with specialist backup as requested. Best compensation program in the Northeast with excellent base salary and incentives.
