Opportunity for a Physician to join TeamHealth Hospital Medicine in a metropolitan area of Alabama. This established hospital medicine program staffs physician coverage following a block schedule model. Qualified candidates will be Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency trained and either Board Eligible (on track to take exam) or Board Certified. No Procedures are required, and the program offers APC support.
This Alabama Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) is also known as The River Region. As of the 2010 census, this MSA had a population of 374,536, ranking it 136th among all U.S. MSAs. The region is filled with diversity and cultural landmarks that include museums, Shakespeare festivals, Civil War historic sites, civil rights memorials, and much, much more. Ongoing redevelopment of the area continues to bring new life and energy into an area of historic significance.
