Neuro Hospitalist - Physician - (Neurology - Neuro) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day
Staff Care is looking for a Neuro-Hospitalist, 7 on/ 7 off-12 hour shifts in West Virginia. Must be comfortable with stroke-TPA, EEG interpretations and EMG's. Must be board certified in Neurology and licensed in West Virginia.
A neuro hospitalist (locum tenens) is a hospital based neurologist, who is specially trained in vascular neurology and/or neuro critical care. A neuro hospitalist will see inpatient neurology consults and manage neurology inpatient services, specifically within the care of patients admitted to the hospital with a wide array of nervous system disorders. Neuro hospitalists evaluate and treat a multitude of conditions including: acute stroke, nervous system cancer, seizure disorders, altered mental status, headaches and neuromuscular respiratory failure.
