Hospitalist - Pediatrics - Physician - (Hospitalist - Peds) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Weekends
Hospital in Maryland only 1 hour outside of Washington, D.C. is looking for Pediatric hospitalist coverage every weekend in August and September. Will need someone who can Interpret EKG's and perform lumbar punctures and Intubations. If you are interested please contact Staff Care today!!!!
A pediatric hospitalist(locum tenens) is a physician who works with children in inpatient or hospital settings. They offer care to children in multiple departments, including: labor and delivery, intensive care, the pediatric ward, and newborn nursery. A pediatric hospitalist work with regular pediatricians and other physicians involved in a child's care, to ensure the most efficient and effective treatment plan available. A pediatric hospitalist provides treatment in the areas of illness, injury, surgery, and newborn care.
Required Qualifications
Must be board certified in pediatrics and have an active Maryland licensure.
