Hospitalist Opportunity:
You’ll join an expanding Hospitalist group to meet a growing demand in the local community. This is an employed opportunity with a traditional rotation schedule of 7on/7off and one rotation of nights 6 weeks out of 26 weeks. Must have vent management and intubation experience.
Duties include:
- perform evaluations, including H&P’s, and orders at the time of admission
- provide emergency room analysis for triage, admission or discharge
- oversee and participate in daily rounds
- perform duties of patient's primary-care physician
- manage communication among doctors plus medical team, patient and their family
- coordinate care with/among Specialists
- analyze and approve any medical or surgical admissions
- provide pre-op evaluations
- provide consultations
- act as transition coordinator
- collaborate with Case Managers
- manage resources efficiently such as lab, X-ray, and hospital's formulary
- help patients navigate the hospital bureaucracy
- provide discharge summaries and referrals
- schedule patient follow-up
- support every member of hospitalist team as required
- other inpatient duties as necessary
Compensation:
