We have a great Locum Tenens Hospitalist opportunity in southern Virginia in a 168 bed acute care hospital. The service requirements are as follows:
• 7 days on – 7 days off (will look at all availability)
• 12 hour shifts – days or nights
• 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• NO procedures
• Need to be comfortable with ICU involvement and running codes
• Open ICU
• 18 – 20 patient encounters per shift
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or scheduled to take the Boards
• Board Certified in Family Medicine with 3 years Hospitalist experience
• Active ACLS
• Great sub-specialty backup
• Physician Assistant on staff from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• 90 + days to credential
We will provide travel, lodging, malpractice insurance, and a competitive hourly rate.
