Hospitalist Physician Opportunity in Macon!
As the incoming physician, you'll join a large, successful, respected hospitalist group that is dedicated to their medical team and intent on developing close working relationships with their hospital staff and administration. You'll work days in a “bread and butter” hospitalist/inpatient setting.
Duties include:
- Perform evaluations and orders at the time of admission
- Rounds
- Manage resources efficiently
- Provide Pre-op evaluations
- Coordinate with Specialists
- Provide Consultations
- Collaborate with Case Managers
- Work with the hospital's formulary
- Provide discharge referrals
- Schedule patient follow-up
- Other inpatient duties as necessary
In return for your training and experience, this opportunity is offering a MGMA competitive compensation package with a base salary and very lucrative bonus incentives, expected compensation $220,000-$260,000. The monthly productivity & quality bonus structures are easily attainable. Additionally you'll enjoy full benefits including: liability insurance with no tail requirement, health, dental, vision, disability, 401K w/match, and employee stock purchase plan.
Requirements: MD/DO, BE/BC - if board eligible must have plans to sit, with experience in this setting post-training. Sorry this position cannot consider residents/fellows nor visa candidates.
