Hospitalist - Pediatrics - Physician - (Hospitalist - Peds) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Block Shift - Day

Pediatric Hospitalist Needed in Northern New Jersey working 12hr shifts 7a-7p, 7a-7p (7 shifts in a 2 week period, not consecutive) must be willing to work days and nights. No Pediatric ICU and Procedures involve lumbar puncture and Intubation(newborn-rare). See patients 32 weeks to 21 years of age. In House IM on call 24/7 with 3-5 admissions (including newborns) and average 5-10 total inpatients per day. They will be required to go to all c-sections and attend deliveries only if requested.

A pediatric hospitalist(locum tenens) is a physician who works with children in inpatient or hospital settings. They offer care to children in multiple departments, including: labor and delivery, intensive care, the pediatric ward, and newborn nursery. A pediatric hospitalist work with regular pediatricians and other physicians involved in a child's care, to ensure the most efficient and effective treatment plan available. A pediatric hospitalist provides treatment in the areas of illness, injury, surgery, and newborn care.
