A large hospitalist program in central North Carolina is actively recruiting to add several locum tenens hospitalists to work as soon as credentialing and ongoing. They will accept both full and part time coverage.
Requirements and setting to include:
- Hospitalists (IM) 7 days on 7 days off rounders
- Basic IM procedures preferred
- Recently gone to unit base structure for the most part, so right now they generally have 20 or less patients per day amongst the rounders and they have 16 or more dedicated rounders, during the day (12 hour shifts), flex shift (overlapping 8 hour shifts)and multiple night shift slots. The providers all rotate through these shifts.
