If you are seeking a new practice to avoid the pains of an existing practice or finishing residency this opportunity may be for you. Enjoy the security of a $220,000 salary plus bonus as a hospital employed group Hospitalist practicing with a draw area of over 1,000,000. Within your 28 weeks of coverage per year you would cover 90% Adults and 10% pediatrics. Average census would be 15 Adult and 2 Pediatric. This is a rare opportunity to practice in a full spectrum hospitalist role. The hospital is a 150 bed healthcare facility and has an excellent referral base allowing you to be busy from day one. This group of four hospitalists has an average daily census of 15 to 17. This need is for a Hospitalist who would be comfortable in a group employed structure working 7 days on and 7 days off. There is an excellent benefits package including a sign-on bonus or stipend, student loan assistance ($100K), relocation, health insurance, CME, vacation, retirement program, and much more.
Activities abound in this vibrant city which has 55 parks, a botanical garden, Zoo, 72 athletic fields, international airport, 11 community centers, swimming pools, eighteen-hole golf courses (public and private), 61 tennis courts (6 are clay). One can fish, sail, swim or ski on one of the beautiful lakes. The bass fishing in this area has been called the best in the country. There is also deer, dove, turkey, coon, squirrel and even alligators to hunt. Also enjoy golf, tennis and swimming at the country club.
