Exceptional Opportunity for a Hospitalist Physician in Eugene, Oregon!
You’ll join a strong Hospitalist team with ICU coverage and Intensivist back-up. This is a “bread and butter” hospitalist position working a 7on/7off block schedule of 12 hour shifts, 14 shifts per month/168 shifts per year. Duties include: Perform evaluations and orders at the time of admission, Rounds, Manage resources efficiently, Provide Pre-op evaluations, Coordinate with Specialists, Provide Consultations, Collaborate with Case Managers, Work with the hospital\'s formulary, Provide discharge referrals, Schedule patient follow-up, and other Hospitalist duties. You’ll be part of a state of the art, JCAHO accredited hospital regionally recognized as a leader in healthcare. This hospital and area has seen a growth and expansion in all service areas with a strong increase in the number of patients and revenue. The hospital provides a broad range of services, including Intensive Care/Coronary Care, Pulmonary Medicine, Oncology, Da Vinci Technology Surgery, CT Scan, MRI, Maternity, Reproductive Services, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Rehabilitation and a 24-Hour Emergency Department that is a designated Level III Trauma Center. As the incoming physician, you’ll receive a competitive recruitment package, to be discussed with each candidate individually, and based on MGMA guidelines, with a commencement bonus, CME and relocation. Additionally, there is extra shift BONUSES available and an additional bonus structure to begin in month 13 of employment.
